Roope Noronen continues as chairman of SAJL.

The annual meeting of the American Football Association of Finland (SAJL) has unanimously elected Roope Noronen to continue as SAJL’s president for the next two years. Noronen has been the chairman of the Association since 2001.

In addition to chairing the SAJL, Noronen serves on the board of IFAF, International Federation of American Football, with responsibility of Director of Competitions. In the past, Noronen has also served as chairman and vice-chairman of IFAF and as a representative of the European Union (EFAF) on the board.

The annual meeting of the Finnish American Football Association was organized as a physical gathering again in Tampere on Sunday, November 27, after two remote meetings during the covid years 2020 and 2021.
