Three Finnish athletes invited to CFL Global Combine in Toronto

Filip Zacok of Finland convinced CFL scouts of his performance in the Global Combine held in Porvoo, Finland at the beginning of March. He will now continue to a joint combine event for international players in Toronto, Canada, which is set to take place next weekend. In addition to Zacok, also Karri Pajarinen and Viljo Lempinen were invited Toronto combine.

Filip Zacok received good news last week from CFL staff in the Canadian Professional League. The 25-year-old Finn received an invitation to the CFL Combine presented by New Era in Toronto on March 25-27, 2022, where representatives of CFL clubs will get to know the skills of international players up close.

The selection of Zacok, who had previously performed in the NFL London Combine, did not come as a big surprise in the end, but the invitations of Karri Pajarinen and Viljo Lempinen were like that. Neither of them was able to participate Porvoo combine 2022. The men’s previous achievements got Canadians interested in the players ’current condition and that was enough this time. Both Lempinen and Pajarinen participated in Global Combineheld in Vantaa Finland January 2020.
